In the 35 years that I have owned my house, only once a tree root broke this pipe and the cost to repair it was $ 400.00 for an emergency repair rate. That is if it could wait a day or so the rate would be much less.
At the rate of $ 5.25 per month X35X12= $ 2205.00, that is if the rate did not go up during this 35 years.
